so right now i'm crazy about this serial, American Horror Story: Asylum.
it's the 2nd season of American Horror Story, but the setting now is totally different from the previous one.
the first is great. so many secrets, surprises and twists.
but this one is even greater! you love the first? you would love this. you never watch the first before? you can watch this (because it has no correlation with the first season) and immediately love it.
the cast is still the same! glad we still have Jessica Lange, Zachary Quinto, and even Dylan McDermott!! :D
it's weird knowing the creator of this serial is the same creator of Glee. lol
anyway, in this second season... no more haunted house.
welcome to Briarcliff! the sickest mansion of the insanes.
here you'll find Sister Jude and Sister Mary Eunice, Bloody Face the serial killer, and others.
for you who don't mind bloody scene, and love intrigues, tricks, and twist, and of course horror/thriller, i recommend this serial.
and another thing i love from this serial is the script. the choice of words is so clever, especially Sister Jude's dialogue. i love it.

if freedom is real
hey everyone
soooo long since my last post.
nah. it's my third week of 3rd term and it's veryyy hectic here.
well, currently i handle several committees and organization. and you know what
i dont know what to prioritize anymore, these tasks are demanding so much attention from me.
this week i skipped two classes just to take some rest and longer sleep, because i went home very late and i felt so exhausted. i didn't do Cost Accounting homework because i really don't have time. study? nope at all. i successfully failed at Financial Accounting quiz last Monday and Marketing Management quiz earlier this morning.
i am sorry mom, dad, :( i am really ashamed right now. my grades used to be number one priority in my campus life, but i think these activities are just too much for me to handle. moreover, i didn't feel that happiness and joy i used to have in previous committees i had joined. i am really devastated right now. :(
but well, it's not my style to break commitments with things i've committed to. i decide to finish these committees till the end. well... i dont break commitments, but doing things half-assedly is the consequence :|
and yeah, i have this misery. again.
you know, in all committees i joined the design division.
honestly i feel so enough with this design and photoshop thingy. i begin to hate it. i am bored with it.
well i have idealism in my design. i love graphic design because i love seeing beautiful and gorgeous things, from humans, scenery, paintings, photographs, even sculptures and carvings. i love them and the least i could do to contribute in this world's beauty is to make graphic design. every ugly designs i've ever made, i take it as one of my learning history, proof that i am trying to be better.
and now, being forced to do all those design... nowadays i feel like all i made is just junks. my design isn't as free as it was. it isn't exciting as it was. it doesn't make me proud as it was. and moreover, i didn't enjoy making those things :'''(((
is it too much to ask if i want someone to understand this feeling of hatred and devastation?

sweet escape
“He who does not travel does not know the value of men.” – Moorish proverb
that's it in Solo... gonna miss it a lot! :''((
and now we're heading to Jogjakarta! *dancing*
yeah, Jogjakarta is pretty mainstream nowadays, and it's getting more crowded than the last time i visited it. i wish we could stay in Solo longer but what can i say against mom's words? *rolling eyes* anyway Jogjakarta is still fun though ;D
the first site we visited is Candi Mendut. that temple is small, unlike Borobudur or Prambanan.
after that we decided to go to Candi Borobudur hahaha thats because my cousins had never been there. well it's obviously more amazing than Mendut before......and also more crowded, hmm. but the view from top is amazing :D
and apparently there's a new rule here. if you wanna enter the temple, you should wear a sarung batik. i am glad that the government already make a move to socialize batik :) i love batik!
after all temple visits.....ta-da! Malioboro! time to shop-shop!
Malioboro is a long street full of street vendors. most of them sells batik clothes and souvenirs, but there are other stores and restaurants too.
my mom, auntie, and grandma bought batik clothes like crazy here... well no wonder because the price is so cheap
i even got a pair of pajamas for only IDR 25k, hahaha
my bro and sis had them tattooed temporarily
dad and mom bought so many bakpia :O
so sad we didnt get a chance to ride becak here :(
and the next morning we continued our trip to Dieng plateau in Wonosobo.
we took a long, long way to get up there. and here, we visit Telaga Warna lake and Candi Arjuna
Telaga Warna is awesome! the color of the surface is beautiful. i wonder if other lakes are like this :O
and Candi Arjuna consists of four small temples. :D
and you don't have any idea how scary the way down from Dieng is. gosh! hahahaha
that's it for now
i love those towns, i wish i got another chance to visit them again someday :)
hey fellas! ah, after sitting for hours in car my ass is still aching until now *stretch stretch*
here i am, just came back from 6-days trip to Central Java.
i went to Semarang, Solo, Jogjakarta, and Dieng plateau (in Wonosobo)
i went there with my parents, brother, sister, my uncle's family, my grandma, and my auntie.
real great time i had there!
Semarang is the first destination of our trip. we didnt really go to particular objects/sites, my parents just want us to know what Semarang is really like. and it is so surprising that Semarang is a cool city! what i like the most is, Semarang is really clean although it's pretty big. We arrived there on Sunday night and we ate at Lombok Ijo. the foods are pretty good and the prices are surprisingly cheap, haha.
the next day, my sister got this idea to go to Lawang Sewu museum, and so we go there.
this museum was once used by Netherlander to hold Indonesians captive. there is even a dungeon there! :O they said the dungeon is used to torture Indonesians and kill them. errww :S

| a thousand doors! |
after Semarang, we went to Solo. this is the most amazing city in my trip! the town is very clean, the pedestrian is so big that you can even ride bicycle there, and it is not very crowded unlike here in Jakarta.
we sleep at Rumah Turi Inn. it is quite cheap and the room is very good and homey (i like it so much!) although we experienced some difficulty to get there (due to the location).
and the next day we went to the house of one of my family's relatives (Bibi Ida, according to my mom) and she suggested us to go to Sangiran, Early Man's site. it's some kind of museum about prehistoric men and stuffs. and so we got there...
| souvenir's corner |
after Sangiran, we decided to go to Keraton.
the tour guide showed us many sacred things used by the royal family centuries ago and their family tree
Just when we're about to finished the keraton tour, i realized that mom and dad was not with us anymore, and i asked my auntie where they are. auntie said that they had forgotten that my little sister was left in the car! so they rushed to the car as soon as they realized that hahahaha lol

4th Students Research Days
"The reward is the journey itself." - Chinese Proverb
last week (yeah, a bit too late, thanks to the lack of time i got) was a blast. mostly because of SRD was being held :D
nah. SRD (Students Research Days) is an internal committee held by my faculty. this year is its fourth, and i join this committee as the coordinator of Publication, Documentation, and Design division :D
my pubdoc team consists of Chika & Gracia as well. i love working with them so much! :D <3 and i miss them already :(
i love this committee so much... this committee also feels like a family to me.
i miss SRD stand where we hang out there to have chit-chats, to study together, to wait for the next class, to spend the break time, to buy fund raising division's ayam kremes, and so on.
i miss all the meetings when we laugh like crazy *thanks to logistic division LOL*
i miss the D-days when we take so much photos together
i miss when i should stay all night long to make all designs
i miss all the memories i had here
and of course, i miss all of my friends here, i miss them so much.
too bad this committee is over :""""(
and because this committee is the first time i am chosen to be the coordinator, i learned a lot of things here, like how to communicate with all of your team members, how to get things done on time, how to balance your time between all your routines, and so on...
by the way, SRD is the committee where i enjoy designing publication tools the most :') i love SRD's publication tools colors <3
for my pubdoc team
i am really glad to have the chance to work with them!
i love the time we spent together, i really hope someday i'll work with them again
thank youuuu guyyyssss <3 I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH *kisses*
and this is the closing video uploaded by Gracia! check it out guys <3 muchos gracias Graciaa for uploading it! :*
well, every hello is always followed by a goodbye, isn't it?
i really love working with all of you, guys. so much joy and laugh :)

world, you got me questioning
a good evening today.
it's June! the month when finally, the long-awaited three-months holiday starts. happy holiday everyone!
anyway i still worry about what might fill my time in these frustrating three months and what i can do to pay for my holiday hedonism cost, haha. i've been asking if there's any of my family or their friends who wants a part-timer, but the answers are all NO... aww.and i accept orders of graphic design jobs... so call me if you have one! you know, i ever thought of taking this graphic-design business to the next level, but i think i am not ready to maintain it. besides i still lack of experience (and even the skill, i can use only Photoshop. not even Illustrator or Corel Draw) :( but for simple event posters, ballyhoos, greeting/birthday invitation cards, and so on, believe me i can do that... just ask me for my portfolio! :) just contact me via email, twitter, or facebook! ;)
well, talk about that later.
i have particular things to write today.
i just finished reading this book, Supernova by Dee.
nah, i am not that genius, not even that smart to fully understand what this book is about. it talks about some physics-combined-with-philosophy stuffs to begin with. but it is also about romance, a beautiful and sad one...
and it got me thinking about something.
it's about why people do things. believe things. and what, after (and if) those things are not going as planned? if those break your heart? and worse... if your whole world ruin apart as those things don't satisfy your needs and wants? or even, if you realize that those things are just your unreachable fantasy?
why do people do things? is it because they love it? because they are simply told by someone to do it? or because they earn money for it?
if they don't love it, how can they bear the boredom of doing it? or even the hatred?
why do people believe particular things? for example, their God? or how they believe that their girl/boyfriend is their lifetime soulmate?
and yes. what if your heart breaks because of those things you do, you believe, you love, or even you give your life into? can you bear the pain? can you bear the satisfaction of people who say 'i told you', 'see', 'i warned you before', 'this is because you didn't listen to me', or even 'yes, feel that!' ?
just saying. no - just wandering.

don't ask why
You're funny
You laugh a lot, too
You're lovable
You make me smile every time i see you around
You light my day
You make me laugh every time we talk
If anyone ever ask, why you
I won't ever say those words
Cause they will never know how fast my heart beats when you're around
Sometimes i ask myself, why you
And when I remember how time flies when I'm with you
That question vanishes in the air,
And all I can think about is when will we meet again
No, I am not comfortable with who I am when I am with you
Cause, really
I like you so much that I try hard to be nice to you
I like you for who you are, but somehow I can't be who I really am
Guess what, maybe I like you that much
"You can be as cold as the winter weather
But I don't care as long as we're together"
But I don't care as long as we're together"
